Ingredients:
3 T vanilla
2 qt. milk
2 ½ c sugar
1 c whipping cream
or
1 can evaporated milk
Directions:
Heat milk, vanilla, cream, and sugar until lukewarm. Pour into 4 qt ice cream freezer.
Add:
1 pkg junket
dissolved in ¼ c cold water to the top of the mixture in the freezer. Let stand without stirring for 10 minutes. Start freezer. When stiff pack into container and freeze for about 1 hour before serving.
