Ingredients:
4 c dry hot dog or hamburger buns rubbed into fine crumbs
1 t cinnamon
1 t nutmeg
3 beaten eggs
¼ c sugar
½ c evaporated milk
¼ c raisins
¼ t salt
1 t vanilla
Directions:
Mix all ingredients and pack into greased glass dish. Bake at 350º until firm. (I have found this works best if an open pan of water is set on the oven rack while this is baking. Original bread pudding was steamed in a bag)
Serve with thin warmed caramel sauce or hot applesauce.
